24.01.2022 Surgery Central! Dr Dan, Dr Hannah and Nurse Jade were hard at it this week in Doomadgee for our remote animal health clinic. They performed a massive 28 desexings and treated a whopping 191 animals! Dan and Jade will be the ‘Doomadgee Dream Team’ this year as Hannah takes a step back for maternity leave. But she couldn’t resist getting one last spey in before retirement...

16.01.2022 Check out Rindi’s beautiful pups, all grown up! Rindi is a beautiful local dog from Mornington Island who sadly lost her last litter to parvovirus. Her owners were devastated, so they made sure her next litter was fully vaccinated and have already had several vet checks! We are pleased to say all her pups have grown beautifully and are healthy the next step will be to desex her and her pups when they are old enough Here is ‘Hippo’ with our lovely Dr Suz getting his final puppy vaccination

15.01.2022 Morno Magic! Dr Suz and Dr Hannah have had a busy week on Mornington Island with lots of parasite control, desexing and animal health checks. We love seeing our regulars like ‘Beadle’ and meeting new friends like ‘Punisher’ (the gentle giant!) Once again, a huge thanks to our superstar Suz who makes the effort to come all the way from the Gold Coast to help us on Morno (and takes most of the good photos!) - we love your work!

10.01.2022 Stepping Up! Here‘s a young breaker we’ve treated recently for a sore eye AND a touch of colic. He must be going to be a world beater with this start in his career! We’re happy to report he’s made a full recovery and is doing well

07.01.2022 Something a little different... Dr Hannah did this lump removal on a little guinea pig named ‘Penny’ today. Pocket pets aren’t our usual customer, so a quick chat to our friends at CARE in South Africa (a vet hospital that specializes in birds, reptiles and exotics) was needed before surgery for some hot tips. ... We are so grateful to the community of vets that help with cases like this - we would be lost without you! ‘Penny’ is back home today and doing well
