24.01.2022 Work has commenced in Stanley Street. Stanley Street is closed from Hornsey Street to the Cul-da-sac at the rear of Burwood Public School. Whilst access during the peak drop off and pick up times will be facilitated by traffic controllers, Parents are encouraged to avoid the area and use alternative drop off locations in Conder Street. Traffic delays maybe expected during the peak school hours. Council appreciates your cooperation during these important rehabilitation works.

The trial will kick off early next year at 3 Clarence Street Burwood, 1-5 Greenhills Street Croydon and 294 Liverpool Road Enfield. Thanks to everyone who applied to take part in the trial. It’s another way Council is working to support residents to reduce their waste. We’re delighted to advise that the EAC will open for more services and activities from 2 October 2020 including: 50m outdoor lap swimming sessions; Recreation swimming sessions for families in the outdoor 50m pool and indoor 25m pool with exclusive space provided; pre-school swimming sessions in the indoor 25m pool and outdoor toddler pool with exclusive space provided; access to the water play park under booked sessions.
