05.01.2022 Holed up in the Fern Tree Tavern waiting for the camera battery to charge up. Climbed the mountain up from Longley especially to film in the Fern Tree bus stop which is a classic. The new publicans are young, new (14 months) and have live music on Fridays. Matt is a musician and his band is playing this weekend - see how tough it is for musicians to get a gig? You have to have your own pub and bonus - no pokies! Yeay! Very cool pub. Thanks for the spectacular trevalley+scallops, the excellent shirazand ESPECIALLY the free WIFI and electricity to charge up. Very grateful.
