23.01.2022 I had the pleasure of relocating this lovely pair this afternoon. The Bobtail Lizard is known by a few names; Blue tongue skink, shingleback or pinecone lizard, or the sleepy lizard (because they are generally quite slow moving). Scientific Name: Tiliqua rugosa... Noongar Name: Yoon These guys are one of the few reptiles that display monogamous relationships meaning they will meet up with the same lady every year during the mating season. Considering these guys can live up to 50 years! That's quite a commitment! Between the months of September and November it won't be uncommon to see these guys travelling in pairs. In fact the male won't stray more than 12 inches from their ladies side! (Until the deed is done of course ). These guys make the perfect neighbour to live in your garden. They'll keep your snails, slugs and crickets at bay but may steal some of your strawberries as payment. However we do understand that relocating these guys from your yards is important, especially when they are at risk from your pets so don't hesitate to contact us. Be sure to keep an eye out for them

21.01.2022 Spot the snake in this photo Relocated this young Dugite from a property in Wellard earlier today. It never ceases to amaze me with how quickly they disappear into their surroundings when released. ... Our wildlife is amazing

09.01.2022 Had the wonderful opportunity today to relocate this gorgeous lizard from a home in Secret Harbour. They are commonly known as the Black Headed Monitor Lizard, Speckled Monitor or Racehorse Monitor Lizard and they can grow up to 80cm long! Photos by Craig M Duncan Photography

05.01.2022 Picked up this bobby today and relocated him from someone's backyard after removing a total of 13 ticks from his ears and body. He certainly showed that he was grateful (Not ). When a bobtail opens there mouth wide that's there way of saying "stay away I'm big and mean". Though they are mostly harmless they can still bite quite hard. If they are picked up by a predator they will also wee and poo as part of there defensive mechanism.... He was still pretty cute though

04.01.2022 Black Headed Monitor Lizards are a tree dwelling species, and just look how fast he disappears off into the tree upon his release!

04.01.2022 As we have all now moved into lockdown for the next 5 days, I just wanted to let everyone know that relocators will still be available. As our wildlife will not be adhering to the current lockdown policies, I will still be available to relocate any unwanted guests during this time. Thank you all and stay safe

02.01.2022 For anyone who may find any injured wildlife requiring medical attention Here is a list of all native animal rescues who can catch up and help treat injured mammals, birds and reptiles. With the current fires there will be lots of wildlife finding themselves displaced from their homes so be sure to keep an eye out for them if you are travelling that way.... My thoughts are with all those currently affected by the fires
