20.01.2022 The chickens are growing so quickly and the children are enjoying looking after them. They love scratching around in the gardens. :)

19.01.2022 The children from Benowa Childrens Centres had a wonderful time today, enjoying some gardening and learning about worms.

12.01.2022 Today our Bushy Kindy children took part in some fishing along the shoreline at Burleigh Heads. The children had shown an interest in fishing. As soon as we hopped from the bus we began finding sticks that we could use as our rods. We found long, short, thick and thin ones. We walked along the path until we found a good spot for fishing. Our teachers helped us tie fishing line onto our rods and then tie a prawn to the end. We did not use hooks just knots. We had a picnic after and Mr Mario removed all fishing line from sticks

09.01.2022 Our Story Today At our Bush Kindy today Mr John had some different types of plants for us to plant. We all assisted in planting the new plants into the holes Mr John had made for us. We learnt today that some flowers are edible and can be used in salads etc. We planted them into our garden to use in our salads. We also gathered mulch to place around the trees so that they don’t dry out. We all enjoyed getting our hands dirty as we were planting and mulching. We then went off to visit the chickens. We had to be extra careful not to go near the garden orb spider that has made his web out in the chickens yard. Some of us were lucky enough to catch a chicken and we enjoyed giving them a cuddle.
