25.01.2022 Prospectors and miners will be banned in 77,000Ha (770sqKM) in the proposed locked up fire-trap National Parks under Victorian Environmental Assessment Council ... VEAC did an economic report and said Victoria only lose $270M, ignoring the wealth potential underground, money spent by exploration companies and small scale miners working in these areas. At the least their report is sloppy, at the worst lies and corrupt. With your help the PMAV paid for an independent report from Dr. Alan Moran (Dr Ec, BscEc) and he found the figure was closer to $2.8BILLION! 20.01.2022 BUSH USERS LEFT HANGING Daniel Andrews must permanently park his plan to lock up more of Victorias public land. Labor continues to delay its ...response to the VEAC report that recommended locking up state forests in national parks. The report was in due in February, yet its mid-March and still no word from Labor. Regional Victorians are avid bush users and want our state forests to stay OPEN! Camping , 4WDing, prospecting, horse riding, bush walking, fire wood collection and hunting are highly valued past-times and an intrinsic part of our country lives. We must keep public access to public land.

19.01.2022 MOTION MOVED TO SUPPORT TIMBER INDUSTRY This week on behalf of the Nationals and Liberals I introduced a motion to State Parliament to establish an inquiry ...into the Andrews Labor Governments destructive plan to cut Victorias native timber industry and thousands of Victorian jobs. The inquiry would report back by June 2021. Timber workers, businesses and communities feel let down by the lack of detail from the Andrews Labor Government on its decision to ban the native timber industry by 2030. Labors refused to say how much plantation timber will be available for harvest by 2030. Neither will Andrews explain how he plans to retain unique knowledge of Victorias high country bush landscapes and access to heavy machinery, which is invaluable during times of catastrophic bushfire. The motion will be debated in coming weeks. I am asking for your help to push the case for this Inquiry by writing to Labor and Independent State MPs in your area. Daniel Andrews wont stand up for Victorias sustainable native timber industry, but I will. For any inquiries please contact my electoral office on (03) 5174 7066.

These restrictions were put in place to prevent non-essential travel and spreading the virus, something which is a moot point for a man who lives where his lifes passion is.
