25.01.2022 Last night was a night with a group of absolute PowerHouses I've always loved this quote (didn't know it was by Madonna!) and was so grateful to be able to have some 'Business Banter' with a group of incredible local entrepreneurs with so many years of successful business experience and knowledge! We have some amazing resources and stories in our town - 'Love your Local' as they say!!!!... 19.01.2022 Our sixth (and final) presenter in the Bush Biz Boost program is the inspiring Warren Davies - The Unbreakable Farmer who is a rural mental health advocate and an all-round great guy Warren will take us through his journey from being a dairy farmer to being a key-note speaker at corporate events and talking to secondary students about the importance of looking after your mental health. He is engaging, knowledgeable and is a great listener! What an important and pertinent way to wrap up our program by focusing on how business owners can look after themselves, their staff and their overall community

She does just that - helps you break your 'numbers' down into simple ideas and then make some smart plans! Jen is a business profit coach who loves assisting rural businesses with understanding their finances. She has an amazing knack of being able to make it simple and still achieve amazing results! 09.01.2022 The current pilot program of the Bush Biz Boost has been made possible by grant funding from the Cohuna & District Progress Association. The AGM is tonight via Zoom! This group of volunteers gives back tirelessly to our community and we need more members to join in and bring some fresh ideas, new energy and to help connect all of our community groups, businesses, organisations and individuals

06.01.2022 The third session of the Bush Biz Boost program focused on helping our local businesses with MARKETING Jenn from Social Media and Marketing Australia took the program participants through the important aspects of marketing your business: Showing up... Strategy Selling Plus much, much more! There were many 'ah-ha' moments, plenty of new acronyms to learn and lots of questions asked and answered This workshop was packed with info, tips and could not possibly cover everything (Jenn normally covers this in a 1-2 day workshop!) but each business received a free 1:1 session with Jenn to discuss their individual marketing needs Next week we will be working with Paul Dillon from Mallee Rising and learning more about the digital landscape and what businesses need to know to make their lives simpler and to build for the future!
