20.01.2022 As our new builder progresses towards finalising our master plan, my lovely wife Belinda Davies has been internet shopping to find the perfect items for our new home. The latest purchase is this set of collectable animal food tins. These should look amazing in our walk in pantry and store plenty of food for some of our growing zoo of animals. Currently we have a Maltese Shiatzu named Anakin (A.K.A. Fluffy Nuffy) and yes, he does have a dark side!! We also have a turtle named Scarface, 10 cold water gold fish, a scorpion called Riddick, 2 quail and the lovebirds: Sunshine, Turquoise, Midnight (A.K.A. Big Mumma), Pikachu (A.K.A. Peek at you), Gidget, Terminator, Mini Me, Emerald and Barry. We are also planning on adding some chickens, a rabbit, a guinea pig and a tropical fish aquarium!

06.01.2022 Yes, we know it has been ages since we last updated the page, however a lot has happened and we have been under the pump trying to work, save, juggle family and spend time together so updating the page kind of took a back seat. To start at the beginning, we sacked our builder! We had the plans complete, council approved, costed and were awaiting final bank approval when we received a huge shock. The banks' valuer valued our build at some $35k less then the builder was wanting... to charge us! The builder was not interested in having any conversations over pricing, so time to go! Our new builder is soooo much better!! We have been totally impressed with every aspect of their process, customer service, query follow up and suggestions. The new plans are almost done, then off to council again before getting the bank to evaluate these new plans. Hopefully all will go well and we end up with a much larger home than the first one for about the same $$ - this floor plan is also much more suited to us and out lifestyle. We will upload a copy when we have the final one. Below is the inspiration for our facade - we are heading for a Hampton inspired home with colour scheme to be darker and more of a contrast than the image show here. Will try and keep the updates more frequent but that is all for now :) Cheers Mark Davies and Belinda Davies
