23.01.2022 The guys in NSW have just finished installing a system in the arena (pictured) for horse shows, the system keeps a light dampness to the surface rather than dust. This is a natural progression for the business as we have installed systems for horse studs, stables and external arenas. The 2nd picture is a bit dark but shows the spray head insitu. Here in SA we are looking to quote a leading soil and landscape supplier for fire protection of stored fertilizers, also the compo...st mulch which has very high internal heat due to the decay process. This will a perfect application for both the highly efficient HD-10 spray heads and BlazeTamer fire suppressant as it actual draws heat from the material. We are confident our system due to its simplicity and efficiency will be extremely competitive with a commercial fire systems on the market today. Note:- That the demonstration system has been very successful, with exclamations of "Oh Right Now I see what you mean" or "It really is a water barrier " while getting 'rained' on from the system 10 meters away, lucky its hot. We are planning and have booked markets and field days so if you know of any coming we would be keen on hearing from you.

22.01.2022 Some good advice from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority - CASA, regarding the operation of drones in emergency situations. Never fly a drone, model aircraft or multirotor near bushfires. While it might be tempting to record footage, you can pose a major safety risk to firefighting personnel in the air and on the ground. #BushFireReadyAustralia... #AreYouBushFireReady See more

17.01.2022 Summer doesn't quite know what it wants to do this season, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be prepared. Don't let these summer storms fool you, they can actually make for a potentially worse bushfire season. The above average rainfall we've been having creates more undergrowth and when the hot weather does turn up, there's more fuel load to burn. Make sure you're prepared. ... #BushFireReadyAustralia #AreYouBushFireReady

14.01.2022 This few seconds of video shows the water barriers put up by the sprinkler spray heads. When the smoke and wind carry the embers to the house the water barrier not only extinguishes them but saturates the building soaking all the ember traps, like window frames, under the eaves and crevices.

13.01.2022 End of Fire Danger Season in six districts The Fire Danger Season will end in six Fire Ban Districts on Saturday the 15th of April at midnight but will be exten...ded until the 30th of April for the Flinders district in the state's north. From the start of the year the Flinders district has missed out on rain fallen across South Australia and much of the vegetation in the district remains dry. CFS State Coordinator Phil McDonough says land managers should be aware of what Fire Ban District they are in and what restrictions apply. "We will still have seven of districts in the Fire Danger Season after April 15th so until they end usual Fire Danger Season restrictions will be in place," he said. "Many land managers will want to utilise the mild autumn weather to conduct burn offs, if the district is still within the Fire Danger Season then a permit will be needed. "When the Season ends land managers may burn without a permit but it is essential they still consult and follow the Codes of Practice. "They will also need to be aware of other restrictions under other legislation concerning native vegetation and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)." Mr McDonough said those camping over Easter will be able to have a comfort fire provided they follow guidelines and check restrictions if camping in a National Park or recreational reserve. "Provided a Total Fire Ban is not in place you can have a comfort fire even within the Fire Danger Season, if it is within Adelaide metropolitan area or a township you will only be able to use charcoal as fuel as per the EPA legislation," he said. "Local residents should contact their local council for advice on burning-off and fire activities outside of the Fire Danger Season." The following districts will end the Fire Danger Season at midnight on April the 15th: Eastern Eyre Peninsula, West Coast, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Murraylands, Riverland, and Upper South East. The Fire Danger Season will remain in place for the following districts: Adelaide Metropolitan, Flinders (extended), Kangaroo Island, Lower South East, Mid North, Mount Lofty Ranges, and York Peninsula.

08.01.2022 Building a new home? Then this is absolutely the best time to consider installing one of our internal bushfire protection systems. The ascetics are far improved as all of the pipe work is concealed in the roof cavity with facia mounted spray heads no copper pipe running around the outside of the house. We can work with you from the ground up. There are many options we can tailor to improve not only the ascetics but the functionality, serviceability and cost.... For example, a small enclosed area or plant room that has all the equipment in one area designed for easy service where the related pipe work & electrical feeds are integrated in the foundations in large conduit. We can install our patented advanced sprinkler system during the process of your house build and by the time you move in you won't even know it's there! Call and ask us how. #BushFireReadyAustralia #AreYouBushFireReady
