09.01.2022 I thought I would take some time to look over both my double swags. I have to say honestly, I believe the Darche swag has a lot more room and the canvas seems to be a tighter weave. The seams are all double stitched and have some sort of sealant across them making them waterproof. The Kings swag is somewhat lacking in everything, from roof room to sealed seams to internal hooks to hang lights etc. The mattress in both are 50mm and absolutely crap for any ground condition.... In summary the Kings swag although lacking in many of the top brand options is actually value for money. At half the price my King's swag has lasted 4 years without an issue and with the added egg carton mattress placed under the original it's actually comfortable. I'm disappointed with Darche and the mattress choice they have decided to sell their front-line swags with. Looking at mattress choices for both again the Kings comes out in front why you ask.? You can buy any aftermarket mattress for the Kings as for the Darche you have to buy their brand so it actually fits. Being 1400 wide it's an odd size and unless you have one made your up for around $300. See more
