24.01.2022 Hi Everyone. We hope you have all managed to stay safe and well over this trying time. We wanted to let you all know that we will be open this Sunday ONLY ( at the moment) for the GRAND OPENING OF THE BIG COW ! We will have a limited takeaway only menu for the day BUT!! we now have a new addition to our Cafe to go along with The Big Cow. !!!! ICE CREAM !!!!! I'll post you a sneak peak tomorrow. So if you looking for something to do on Sunday come down and say hi..... We've missed you all so very much. You can find all the details on the Highfields Pioneer Village facebook page. Tickets can be purchased through a link on there page and there's the list of all the this happening around the place on the day.

20.01.2022 Our committee regrets to inform you that due to the Coronavirus pandemic, our 2021 festival has been cancelled. With many volunteers and entertainers travelling... interstate for the festival, lack of funding and uncertainty surrounding future Coronavirus restrictions our Volunteers have decided the best option is to cancel. We will be holding a smaller event over Easter at the Big Cow. The Highfields Pioneer Village will be open for business as usual. 08.01.2022 TEMPORARY HOURS THURS - SUNDAY...9AM-3PM Due to the ongoing situation with the COVID-19 VIRUS with everyone's well being in mind and the drop in customers we have decided to reduce our hour for the time being. All our meals can be made as takeaway if you don't wish to come in. Just give Jeanette or I a call and we can run it out to you. If you would like to book in a group of less than 100 people on the other days we would be more than happy to come in for you. We have heaps ...of outdoor seating as well. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our valued customers for your support and understanding at this critical time in our country. 02.01.2022 It’s with a Heavy Heart that we have to close our cafe !!!! TEMPORARILY !!!! With the government now closing down eat in dinning and we don’t get the takeaway side of business we have decided to close the cafe until we are allowed to reopen. Please keep and eye on our Facebook page for the BIG Reopening when we can. We want to thank everyone one of you for your patience and understanding through this rough time and will see you all on the flip side.
