23.01.2022 Big thanks to the crew that joined us on our waterway clean-up of tallebudgera creek yesterday! It was our first one in quite some time, so felt good to get out and make a difference. Were lucky enough to meet a number of awesome locals that were stoked with what we were doing and interested in joining us on the next adventure.. Thats what it's all about! 21.01.2022 Pictured here you can see our dehydrated meals, homemade toothpaste, plastic-free toiletries, and the only single-use plastic bag we used on our trip - a rice p...acket! . Before our decision to live without single-use plastics, we wouldn't have thought twice about packing our meals in individual plastic ziplock bags on an adventure. Having to carry out rubbish was just part of the trip! . Well, we decided to challenge ourselves and see if we could minimise our single use plastics in an extremely wet, cold and cramped environment, and we were so pleased with the results (thank goodness!) . Beau Riding with this 1mtr jack th...ats right folks 1mtr and weighed in at 11.15kg Caught off tweed heads Gear. Was a samurai 15-25lb osprey. With a talica 8. Running 40lb black magic supple. And 8/0 mustard penetrators. Floating slimie macs for snapper. was an epic fight and exploded my rod guides. Prob would not have landed the fish with out the captain springing into action pulling all lines out of the water and landing the gaff shot. Beau’s words.
