17.01.2022 One of my clients had a number of issues with his computer, it was slowing down, it was getting less stable and it was needed every day. Rather than spending a lot of time and money on software to battle old technology, we went to the main cause which was the old mechanical hard drive. We replaced the old hard drive with an SSD drive (Solid State Drive) and we did this without changing any software or having to reinstall windows and the laptop got an instant speed upgrade. ... Older hard drives are mechanical and due to their nature, overtime, become a major bottleneck when it comes to computer speed. The new SSD drives are electronic, do not have any moving parts and will provide for greater speeds in data read/writing without the worry of mechanical wear and tear. Heres part of what he had to say after the upgrade, Chris I cant believe the difference the new drive has made to the computer, I reckon it will pay for itself in just the time I save compared to when I had to wait for every little process to happen, thanks George.
