18.01.2022 [BOOK GIVEAWAY] Hey everyone, I’ve been pretty quiet here of late, so firstly, welcome to all the new likes! I appreciate the love! The reason is, I’ve needed to focus on the business that was the original inspiration for the book, ‘Business & Baby at Home’. It was this design company that I started way back in 2002, that provided the real life lessons and experiences that I’ve been able to share with all of you. And we’ve had a huge year, the team has grown, the client bas...e continues to expand, and I’ve needed to be 100% hands on to strategically make sure we’re headed in the right direction and staying true to my original vision and values. Which brings me to a bit of a crossroads with you guys. And I’ve been thinking a lot about what my personal passions are, and how I can add value to your lives beyond all the information in the book. The good news is, I just absolutely love supporting women in business, that’s a fact. Whenever I receive a question on any of the complexities of running a business, and the balancing act with kids, I just light up. So I would like to offer you more. I’ve got some ideas in the pipeline which I’ll let you know about very soon, but in the meantime I would like you to tell me what you really want me to focus on. So I need to hear what it is you want! For a chance to receive a copy of Business & Baby at Home, please fill in this quick survey https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/5PHF7V8 Warmly, Sarah xx

16.01.2022 "‘Women are the carers, men are the breadwinners’ was questioned so heavily in our household last year, it was the topic of large sheets of paper with unending ...lists of pros and cons. Why do we think this? What would it be like if we swapped? What would people say?" > http://mouthsmums.com/24psBT9 See more

16.01.2022 Great read from one of my favourite blogs.... My approach has typically been to squeeze in fun outings with them, especially if I’ve been at work all day. But maybe it’s nice sometimes to not do anything. Here's to taking it slow, folks. xx

11.01.2022 Last night I got to wear a designer gown to a beautiful ball, for a very tragic reason. On 28 February 2015 Tara Maree Costigan was killed by her former partner with an axe as she held her five day old baby girl. Let that soak in for a moment. Her nine and eleven year old sons were powerless to stop it as they watched on. ... Tara’s eighteen year old baby sister and her boyfriend were also injured as they bravely fought off the attack. Two women are killed in Australia each week as a result of family violence. While Tara is just one of those women, the circumstances of her death have led to her becoming a symbol of both grief and hope. Well done to Baptistcare and @TaraCostiganFoundation for shining a light on this terrible statistic. #thehaloball #togetherwearestrong
