21.01.2022 Just an update Oct 2019: It's a year since my last update and although not busking, i have been busy with many things personal, health & family. Long story short, i have only just retired, moved home and have been busy settling in/organising my new retiree home. It has taken more time & effort than expected, but it is slowly coming together. The Pappa Bear busking for charity donations is still very much a purpose for me, however it will be a few months before i start finding some locations to get started. All the best, Mike

02.01.2022 Hi folks, just a little update (Oct 2018). The Pappa Bear 'Busking for Charity' initiative is still very much alive. I tested the concept at The Man from Snowy River festival earlier this year, had fun, and people were very generous. Starlight Foundation gave me feedback that the donation helped 8 children who required particular support in Hospital. The relationship with Starlight Foundation is in place now for future 'busking' initiatives. However, for me, I have had to p...ut things on hold, for a number of reasons, nothing related to the busking for charity, just personal & work. As noted on my website; www.pappabear.org this initiative was put in place for when I retire, which will be sometime next year, 2019. I will then be more active with my busking for charity and hopefully travelling around to various venues and Country Towns. All the best, Mike (a.k.a. Pappa Bear)
