22.01.2022 IMAGINE a meeting place, a little pocket tucked away in the heart of Dunsborough, an exciting space inspired by nature for families to come and enjoy. It's called Djiljit Mia Community Gathering Place! A totally community driven and community supported, grass roots project from beginning to end. It just wouldn't have been possible without community donations, volunteers and our community getting on board and loving the idea.... This project is a true testament to the strength of our community and what we can achieve when we work together for a greater cause. It's this strength that will see us through these tough times we are facing. We can't wait for the day when this new meeting place comes alive with the sound of children playing, laughing, exploring and families gathering together in good health and spirits. Until then we ask that you SHARE this story far and wide so our community can celebrate such an amazing achievement. 18.01.2022 Our team are proud to be throwing our support behind the Busselton Golf Club to make this year's Leaney Cup possible. The annual 2 day event, 7 & 8 November, draws players both locally and from around the state and is one of only a few events that is a 2 day mixed competition. The format of the event was the brainchild of the club CEO at the time John Anderson & his wife Pat to run something similar to the Hopman Cup tennis event that includes both singles and teams golf. ... Aptly named after the clubs most successful local product, Stephen Leaney, who took out the Junior Championship in 1983 and went on professional rank. A Gala Dinner Dance will be enjoyed on Saturday evening. Catered by our customers from Foodlosophy, with live music by local band Phat Chance

What a blast the kids had! The sun was shining, the faction colours were out in force, families filled the sidelines and there was a buzz of excitement in the air. Congratulations to all who were involved in organising a very smoothly run event. And finally to GREEN faction for leading the day in points (and these 2 little legends provided the most impressive acceptance speech ever!)

At the time we didn't know who this student was, we just knew we were going to be able to provide an amazing learning experience for them. Fast forward a few weeks and we were lucky enough to be connected with this student, his name is Marshall, to hear first hand all about his camp experience.... This group is doing some outstanding work not only restoring the forest but also on the old Ludlow Mill Settlement. 06.01.2022 FACT: There is no shortage of amazing community minded people in our towns! FACT: They are working on amazing projects that are making a real difference to our communities! We wanted to take the opportunity to SHOUT OUT to all these amazing people doing amazing things!!... This particular group of dedicated community members that form part of the @ludlowtuartforestrestorationgroup have made it their mission to restore and regenerate the Ludlow Tuart Forest & Ludlow Mill Settlement. We were lucky enough to get a guided tour of the settlement and hear their big plans for the area! The prospect of turning this area into a thriving tourist attraction for locals and visitors to enjoy is exciting! All whilst learning about the history of the mill and the forestry industry and what role we can play today in ensuring this rare stretch of Tuart forest lives on for generations. Who wants to know more about what these amazing people are up to??
