11.01.2022 So... our first medley multitee comp trial is in the books at Busselton Golf Club. On Sunday we had two play off white markers, two off reds and one on yellow m...arkers. The beauty of the new World Handicap System is it allows everyone to compete in the same competition utilising which ever tees they choose because Everyone’s handicap is scaled accordingly before the game. It’s not only fun but the opportunities to include EVERYONE (men, women, juniors, seniors, golfers with disabilities and beginners) in the same competition is awesome. Imagine playing with your son or daughter, father and grandparent in a real comp legitimately playing against each other? Sunday’s and Fridays will be like this going forward with the hope of spreading this concept further. With many other courses doing this and currently in the process of implementing this mixed multi tee option the opportunities for us going forward to grow the best game in the world is really exciting. ....... BTW well done to Jarrad Leaver for his win with a solid 35 points. See more

07.01.2022 Medley 9 hole multi tee stableford comp finished for the day. Juniors and parents all playing in the same comp, white tees, red tees and yellow tees used + some... of our green (newbies) juniors playing adjusted rules. Lochie Gilliam running away with it with 21 points. Highlighted by a tee shot 20meters passed the bunkers on 16! In second place, Andy Sharp on 17 points and 3rd place Cameron Blakers. Congrats to Will Riley - he had the best score on a CB of all the kids playing adjusted rules. Exciting to see our group growing and having a handicapping system that allows everyone to play together. Preston Potter has got his 6 cards and is ready to get his official handicap and Tramain Way is also within a couple more cards from getting his handicap too. A little word of encouragement and congrats to Chloe Veeran, Kai Davey and Josh Smith for representing Busselton Golf Club in this weekends Junior Pennants held in Perth. So Well done to Everyone once again. Jem and I are proud of you all. Cheers
