13.01.2022 A painter had a brush with the law over the weekend following a sting operation conducted by the Busted investigators and Celebration Homes in Southern River. The sister of our thief had a gas hot water system that wasnt working so, in the middle of the night, he went shopping at the new Ambia estate that is under construction in Southern River. Little did he know that Busted were conducting an operation in the area. After removing the hot water system our witless thief... drove to his sisters house in Forrestfield and, as she was family, sold it to her for $200, well it is the season of good will after all. Forrestfield Police executed a warrant and the hot water system was retrieved. You can imagine the conversation that then occurred between the siblings when the sister faced a charge of being in possession of stolen goods. Our man coughed up and now faces an early Christmas present of charges of stealing, trespass and the bonus of driving without a licence. If you see building materials such as bargain priced brand new hot water systems on Facebook or Gumtree and it appears too good to be true. It probably is. Just ask yourself if you would prefer Santa or the Police coming to your home this Christmas. We will be monitoring and covertly tracking items on our members building sites all over the Christmas period. Thank you to the Forrestfield Police for your prompt work, Merry Christmas. #ABNGroup #JWH #InspiredHomesWA #BustedWA #WAPolice #TougherforCrooks #Crimestoppers

13.01.2022 Busted score again! On Monday a Dianella couple were shocked to find the police at their door. Earlier that day they met a Facebook market seller in a fast food parking lot and paid $800 for two like new hot water units. The Facebook Marketeers thought they were getting a bargain. It seems that they were intending to pass off the stolen units as new when installing them in unsuspecting customers homes. By the end of the evening they were not only $800 dollars the worse of...f but the couple had to watch as the Police removed the hot water units. And most importantly - Police with Busteds assistance have caught the thieves and they will be charged accordingly.

13.01.2022 Cockburn Police have advised that as a result of Busteds involvement, a court date has now been set for a person caught selling on a stolen hot water system. Dont Get BUSTED! #BustedWA #ABNGroup #JWHGroup #Inspiredhomeswa

04.01.2022 With theft and vandalism on construction sites a constant, the team at Busted is doing everything we can to minimize the risks and make it harder for crooks to get away with it. Site visits last week allowed us the opportunity to talk to various trades people. Not only did the trades people explain how they were being personally affected, they also mentioned the increased security and safety measures being used. With the support of our trades people and the continued flow of information that they provide about suspicious persons and vehicles, we hope to continue seeing a positive shift in attitudes, and safe building practices. #BustedWA #ABNGroup #JWHGroup #Inspiredhomeswa
