25.01.2022 Welcome all Film, COM, and BU students! This coalition is a way for student filmmakers to stand up for what they believe in and make sure that we as a community can ignite a conversation between the student body and the administration above. We want BU to not only grant us access to the things we have paid for, but to start a culture within the film & tv department that can maintain itself for future classes to come. Besides creating a group to openly discuss the current st...atus of the film & tv program, we want this coalition to be an opportunity for the department to become a more connected body of individuals. We hope to grow this community in order to create a place for people to learn from peers, collaboration with each other more freely. At the same time supporting one another and protecting what we pay for. As this grows, we hope to host workshops on equipment, provide connections for cast and crew, and create a network of independent filmmakers that have attended BU.
