23.01.2022 Thank you Wendy, it has been our pleasure to help both you and our community. Without people and organisations such as yours, there would be a awful lot of people much worse off than they are already. Thank you for your dedication and commitment. Merry Christmas from us all

19.01.2022 Children are masters of the momentthey love the way paint feels when they smear it on paper, sprinkle glitter, hear the sound a brush makes across a page or use their hands as they express their creative side. Art is creative, it builds on a child's fine motor skills while also enhancing their basic science and numeracy skills. However, most important is that when a child feels good while they are creating, art helps boost self-confidence. Children who feel able to experiment and to make mistakes feel free to invent new ways of thinking, which extends well beyond the art room.

18.01.2022 There is no better way than to roll out of bed, eat your breakfast and go to daycare or work nice and toasty in your pyjamas. Our lovely children and staff made the unanimous decision to all wear that pjs to Busy Bees on Friday. The day was full of many adventures, bubbles galore, cool outside activities, lots of giggles and laughter while we ate popcorn, drank banana smoothies as we watched Bluey visit Noosa. Thank you to our parents for all the money raised for The Pyjama Foundation who help children in foster care.

13.01.2022 'Hi, it is my turn for Show and Tell, can Dad come in with something he just found and show the kids?' "Sure thing" I replied. I should have known that if your dad is a snake catcher you would want to bring in a snake..... Thank you Matt from Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 for scaring the willies out of me and entertaining the children from a safe distance.... Show and Tell is usually the first opportunity young children have to stand up in front of a small group and speak. It is a wonderful introduction to public speaking as children are often given the option of speaking about a topic they know well and are interested in. Speaking about something you love always makes you love it even more even if it is snakes.

13.01.2022 Friendship Whether you are big or small, short or tall, fast or slow, shy or outgoing, friends come in all different shades of the rainbow. The friendships that you can make while you are having fun and adventures in childcare can last a lifetime. Feeling connected, respected and valued is a integral part of your emotional and social well being development which is extremely important as it helps conquer life's ups and downs.... At Busy Bees we are extremely lucky to have a wonderful group of children that respect and care for each other everyday.

13.01.2022 Well done and Congratulations to our 2020 graduating Wallabies We would just like to say how proud we are of our 2020 graduation class. We have all weathered a rather turbulent year this year, and it has been made that much easier being greeted with happy children who have smiles on their faces and adventure in their souls. You have shared many adventures and learnt many lessons that will only help you from now on. You are wonderful, creative, charming, challenging and inquisitive children that have the whole world in front of you.

13.01.2022 Thank you wonderful staff and clients from Noosa Community Support Centre, we cant wait to come back. We miss you

10.01.2022 We love our outdoor classroom because it enables us to inject a healthy dose of fresh air, sunshine and variety into our Busy Bees week. Our kindy children have been fascinated with rainbows laterly and our Walkabout Tuesday is the most perfect opportunity to take what we have learnt inside to the outside. There are rainbows in our pipe clears, on paper, on our faces and in nature.

10.01.2022 A favorite toy of educators and parents alike, puzzles are deceptively simple. All you have to do is put pieces together to make a whole. Despite their apparent simplicity, puzzles are a fantastic learning tool that teaches children many essential life skills. Puzzles teach children about the concept of 'whole' and that each piece is a fraction of the bigger picture. While doing the puzzle children are learning about spatial awareness, building their memory, fine motor skill...s, concentration and shape recognition. The most important though, is the sense of of 'self confidence when they have successfully completed the puzzle. See more

06.01.2022 It is very important to all of us at Busy Bees to be active in our community. Be it through excursions or donations. We have had the pleasure of helping Wendy and the volunteers that make up Campsite Rescue Inc, for the past few years, feed some of the homeless men in our community. Thank you everyone at @Camp Site Rescue Inc for all your hard work, you do a winderful job.

06.01.2022 This is ground Control to Major Tom. In our kindergarten this month, the children have been busy engaging on a rage of experiences relating to Space. Our new space station corner has also been very popular and allows the children to be involved in dramatic play all the while exploring and learning information about space. The Wallabies have taken some inspiration from videos from the International Space Station as well as adding a cargo net, cables, buttons and coms to their own space craft. 05.01.2022 We were having a quiet morning... reading stories, hiding from monsters, riding bikes and climbing... and then.... Senior Constable Jeremy turned up in his uniform. We were so excited to have a visit from a real police officer. He showed us his equipment and even let us use his handcuffs. They were really heavy, though a little too large for the children’s tiny wrists. We learned about what the police do. We knew that they catch bad guys but we also learned about how they’d ...keep us safe, help and rescue people and let us know when we are in danger. We also learned that, if we got lost, we can recognise a police officer by their badge and that they will always look after us. Thank you Senior Constable Jeremy and all of the police officer everywhere.

05.01.2022 We are continually exploring & building on amazing Community Connections. These connections provide our children with a wide range of experiences and ensure that the needs of children and families are well supported. Today we received a visit from Jodie and Jonathon from the Noosa Council. Together, with their stuffed companion 'Buddy' they talked to the children about responsible dog ownership, tagging and microchipping your dog and how to approach a dog safely. The childr...en were really interested and asked lots of questions and especially enjoyed catching a runaway Buddy. Thank you Jodie and Jonathon.

04.01.2022 Thank you to the wonderful team of educators that make Busy Bees Childcare Centre and Kindergarten the wonderful place that it is. Not only do you show care, empathy and professionalism to our children and families, but to each other also. This year we have faced many challenging times, however, you all have taken them on with a smile, determination and a sense of humour. Thank you also to Brett and Linda Fawcett for their support throughout the year, it is greatly appreciated.
