23.01.2022 I have been wondering where my glasses are and as always they turn up in the last place I look! Right next to the stack of bread bags I have been waxing!
22.01.2022 Thank you to those who have helped clean up Kingston Beach today of the small polystyrene balls that have washed ashore (we do not know where they have come f...rom). We greatly appreciate all of you who have helped keep our beaches clean and free of waste that is harmful to our wildlife and environment. #BeachWatch #MarineDebris
22.01.2022 Did you know the most effective way to help stop the spread of germs isn’t to buy toilet paper. It is to practice proper hand washing and hygiene practices. We are going to be putting up lots of information on how you can help stop the spread of colds and flus as well as the C word! Living on a house with a child who is more susceptible to viruses there are lots of things that I do around my home as well as when we are out and about. Just remember once upon a time there was no hand sanitisers!

15.01.2022 We love our local produce groups where we can share, swap and sell access produce.
15.01.2022 Thank you House of Barkleigh for a great image to remind us all to help keep our pets safe. This also helps to protect ourselves and wider community.
15.01.2022 We are getting excited. This is the only fair we have planned for the next few months! As always preorders and custom orders are welcome. We are currently resolving our equipment issues so please make sure you order in advance if you can. If you are after a waxed item we will confirm closer to the day.
14.01.2022 I love the option of having a night light in my son’s room as well as being able to change the colour. Although this isn’t my favourite diffuser it does the job. I have noticed it making a difference with his sleep as well as how since we started using On Guard it so far we haven’t had any colds in our house. These are the two most common oil mixes I like to have in my son’s room during the day. (It is especially great to help air out the smell of a ) If a night lavender he...lps both of us relax and unwind. I keep a bottle of water and oils near it so I can refill it easily. 13.01.2022 Jack and myself as well as others in my street stood together although apart for a very different ANZAC Day. We sat and reflected at dawn on those who have served our country that we are blessed to live in. As many years as I can remember my family have paid our respects on ANZAC Day. Most years I have joined fellow Girl Guides in at least one march, if I was not joining my family attending a service. It is my way of thanking those and reflecting on how lucky we are. This yea...r it is not possible for us to do that as the people we are wanting to say thank you to are often in the highest risk in our community. I feel grateful that I can still pay my respects in this way and later today my son will have the opportunity to do the same. Stay home when possible and stay safe. #anzacday2020 #anzacday2020 #anzacday #lestweforget #lestweforget #stayhomesavelives #stayhomestaysafe @ Blackmans Bay, Tasmania
13.01.2022 We are so excited to hear that markets are gearing up to open again including some of our favourite ones to visit. For Busy Little Bee things may look different when we start attending markets again. We take COVID safety very seriously and want to ensure we are doing what we can to keep our little family as well as others in our community safe. Please bare with us as we are exploring how this might look for us.
10.01.2022 Taking the road least travelled is never the easiest route; It strengthens us in ways that we not know; Like walking on unsteady rocks strengthens our feet.
10.01.2022 Well this year’s plastic free July might look a little different but every bit still matters! Keep an eye out on our page fro some little things that I live to do!
09.01.2022 I love new fabrics, don’t you! A special order went out last week including these two new fabrics. I think they complement each other nicely. Keep an eye out on our Facebook and Instagram for more new fabrics.... A big thank you to Frankie Bear Fabric for always helping get orders out quickly to us. #handmade #100%cotton #zerowaste #smallbussiness
07.01.2022 Have a look at this idea! In our house we have a pot that is filled with lots of different herbs and vegetables. Stay tuned and we will pop a photo in the coming days.
03.01.2022 How amazing is this to see!
03.01.2022 Have you ever considered having a herb pot? This pot has a mixture of different herbs that I use and all at different stages. The outside ring is coriander and in the middle is sectioned into three where there is spinach, basil and parsley. It is a great way for people who are renting to be able to take them with you when you move on. I live this pot. It is also a great way to decorate pathways and make use of space on verandas. It has a a water reservoir at the bottom so I can water it as I water the rest of my garden.
02.01.2022 Check out an awesome video in part of a series Good Life Permaculture is doing. Composting is a great renewable way to give a new life to beeswax wraps and turn them into something useful once they are no longer suitable for helping protect your food! How many composting/worm farms do you have for your house?
