Working with disengaged students in Year 11 and Year 12.... Based in Salisbury or Shailer Park, you will be required to reengage students and teach within the areas of Year 11 or 12 English and Social Community Studies or Maths and Social Community Studies. Based at Shailer Park, The BUSY Schools is seeking an experienced Curriculum Coordinator who can provide expert advice in the ongoing development of the campus curriculum and teaching program. The position will be actively involved in curriculum strategic planning, supporting teachers’ planning, and modelling teaching methods in the assessment and reporting requirements associated with the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA). The role is part-time however can be supplemented with additional hours of relief teaching. You will have worked in an industry liaison or business development role previously and have demonstrated strengths in communication, engagement and establishing partnerships with employers, industry groups, training providers and apprenticeship support services that will facilitate student’s transition to employment. Ideally, you would have previously worked as an Administrator within a School environment and be experienced in utilising school databases. In addition, to being an accomplished administrator, you will have a high proficiency in word, excel and outlook.
