14.01.2022 Record breaking - twice! World's biggest yachtcrane delivered on most northern Harbour of Europe! This family operated and remotely located yard opted for this... typical Roodberg handling solution. This remote controlled SPC80 will lift small vessels as well as working cats up to a 10 meter beam and 4 synchronised lifting positions which are naturally adaptable to the size of vessel. Slewing of course 360 degrees and further, this crane is fully electric and controlled by PLC ensuring its 4 winches will gently lift and increase speed infinitely in order to optimize comfort of operation. In this case the client opted for combining the crane with our 80ton self powered transporter with a unique transport and support cradle combination, able to handle single hull vessels but catamarans just as easy. All in all: high quality components, neat & clean design and robust construction has gained this family owned yard a handling solution for many years to come!
