13.01.2022 Does your Inspector check in the roof??? Ours Does!!!! Check out this photo from a ceiling void of heat shields that have either not been installed correctly or that have displaced over time. There is also a photo showing how the light shields should be positioned. Heat shields are installed in the roof cavity around ceiling lights to prevent the insulation from touching the lights which heat up and potentially being a fire hazard!!!
