23.01.2022 If you haven't made your way to Northshore Sculpture By The River, there's just over one week left to see the pieces along Northshore's Riverwalk. Every piece was created by a local artist from Sculptors Queensland and all are available for sale so you can feature a piece of Northshore in your own home. Each piece has been created to reflect part of Northshore's history and current use. Our favourite pieces are "Superegg;" made from used coffee capsules and representing the i...mpact their convenience has on our environment, and "Northshore Passage of Time;" made using a piece of the Wharf's own timber and showcasing the past, present, and future of Northshore and the Brisbane River. You can find Northshore Sculpture By The River along Northshore's Riverwalk, next to Eat Street Northshore until December 6th.
22.01.2022 Have you seen some of the Jacarandas and Poinciana Trees lining the streets across Brisbane? While Jacaranda season may be coming to a close, there's another colourful (and very Christmas-festive) tree to keep an eye out for - the Poinciana. Here in Ascot, there are a few streets lined with these gorgeous seasonal trees; Jacarandas in October and Poinciana Trees from November through to February. What is your favourite place to find these gorgeous trees?

16.01.2022 We love walk ins. Some of our favourite clients have come in to have a coffee and chat about the property market before they were even thinking about selling their own home! It's important to us that our clients understand as much of the property market as they want to before making the decision to buy, sell, or lease. If you'd like to pop in to have a chat about the area, you can find us on Massey St, right near the Ascot State School.
14.01.2022 The Reserve has a large fenced dog park with agility training equipment, a semi-covered playground for the kids, and ample amounts of green grass for picnics on sunny days. Located next to Northgate State School, Northgate reserve is great for an after-school or weekend visit with the family.
12.01.2022 Windermere in Ascot is a great example of why we love the area. You can find homes 100 to 150 years old which have been lovingly restored to their former glory nestled amongst newer homes. It's sometimes great to imagine which houses in the area, modern and vintage, will stand the test of time and be a part of the Heritage Trust in another 150 years.
08.01.2022 Success in selling for a premium price won't be achieved with a rushed approach. It won't be achieved unless there is an excellent understanding between all parties as to what the approach is, how it will be achieved and how it will evolve as time goes on and different market conditions are faced. When it comes time to sell, we would all like to achieve more than what we paid. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. If we don't prepare our homes for sale - taking away any... negatives, decluttering, refreshing the garden and décor as required, or if we don't adopt the right sales strategy and commit to it, we may not achieve a higher premium price. Selling your home is emotional and requires commitment. At Butler+Co, we have personal experience in the highs and lows of property investment and management. We can help you to know what to expect when selling your property and have the knowledge, expertise and experience to ensure success when it comes to selling your property.
08.01.2022 From my home to yours - a very Merry Christmas. Cherish the time we have together to celebrate all that we have. I’m very grateful, this day as everyday, to my wonderful clients. Thank you for your trust. ... Enjoy whatever form this years’ Christmas may be - let’s embrace what we can do.

04.01.2022 One of our favourite parts of Ascot is Ascot Park, the grassy corner of Lancaster and Kitchener Roads. Why do we love it so much? Ascot Park has areas dedicated to exercise (including a half basketball court), a children's playground, and council barbecues - and because it's also adjoins off-leash dog park, you can always find a beautiful local dog to say hello to!... The playground at Ascot Park is designed for toddlers to explore and play with colourful fire station, farming, and market themed cubbies to explore and interact with. Older children, teenagers, and the young at heart also have space to play on the swings, rope climbing structure, or basketball court. One of the details of Ascot Park we particularly love is it's 1930s style bandstand which pays homage to the area's heritage - it would not have been out of place in this archived image of the park from 1933.
03.01.2022 Three of the essential elements when selling your home are: Preparation, Presentation, and Patience. These three elements also require time - time to prepare, time to organise the presentation of your home, and time to allow yourself to be patient and allow the agreed sales approach to bear fruit. Preparing your home for sale, presenting it to attract the largest target market, and having patience with your agreed sales approach will take time, but will ensure that when you sign off on your Contract of Sale, a premium price has been achieved.
02.01.2022 We limit the number of properties serviced to ensure a personalised, profitable sale. As a client of ours, you will always get the best advice possible with the care and respect selling your property deserves. Our ultimate goal is to ensure you are 100% satisfied with your sale and at all times feel that we were working in your best interest. You will never be just a number at Butler+Co.
02.01.2022 This photo at Kalinga Park was taken 100 years ago. The gates to Kalinga Park were erected as a memorial to ANZAC soldiers in WWI - soldiers who found short employment working on Kalinga Park's tree lined road. Today, the park is a green space full of areas for families on a sunny day. We love living in this corner of Brisbane City full of historic buildings and homes, with evidence of its history on every corner.
