25.01.2022 At Butlers Yarwun Quarries we are dedicated to do our bit for the environment and generating renewable energy was one of them. 2 years ago, 'Stu' from Sunworx installed a standalone solar system, his biggest project yet, to provide 100% renewable energy to our office and weighbridge. An inverter and battery storage allows us to generate our own reliable clean energy for 360+ days of the year. It takes a good 3 days of no sunshine before we need to start the back up diesel gen...erator. Installing these solar panels we have turned our roof into an asset generating our own power, reducing our carbon footprint, and saving thousands of dollars compared to any alternatives.

13.01.2022 115mm of rain recorded at the Quarry on Wednesday! Rain may have put some jobs on hold but our passionfruit vine and gardens at the Weighbridge were super happy with the drink.
