15.01.2022 What a privilege to be able to witness the tiny caterpillars grow and metamorphosis into stunning butterflies! We loved this experience and it has created so many discussions in our home. Thank you and look forward to doing this again one day!
14.01.2022 Dear Friends, Two updates: 1. I need to contradict the previous post. Because the AusPost advised all small businesses that if they want to reach their customers by Christmas, the last lodgement date for Express Post is Saturday the 19 December 2020, provided we don't run out of chrysalises and caterpillars before that date. This brings me to the second bit.... 2. From today, we had to push all of our life cycle kits to the last week of November. Yes, we underestimated your enthusiasm and now we have a pile of orders to fill. We will be working as hard as we can to make sure we can provide more but for now, please be patient with us. 13.01.2022 Mother's day is coming and we are here to help. 10% off 2- and 6- butterfly releases from individual origami envelopes (code "mum10" ), from now to the 5th May. Deliveries are limited to capital cities due to postage delays. The butterflies will arrive on Friday or Saturday to be released on Sunday morning. All instructions are included. AND... your mum gets a FREE handmade card with real butterfly wings and pressed flora. Until 5th of May or while stock lasts.

10.01.2022 Dear all, We will be taking a short "technical" break from deliveries until the end of July to get some fresh butterfly breeding pairs and take the mental stock of the last season. You can still order everything and nominate the desired date of delivery after the 21July using our new calendar option. We will be delivering Orchard Swallowtail butterfly chrysalises and caterpillars until October when we get back to your favourite Monarchs.

08.01.2022 Dear Friends, Please don't roll your eyes. Yes, I am going to talk about Christmas orders...Only because we received a number of questions and it's easier to answer them here. We now have a fully functioning Preferred Delivery Date feature for most product pages. This means you can place an order almost a year ahead for a date of your preference, like your niece birthday next February etc. The same applies for Christmas. Judging by the last year numbers, we will have a large ...number of orders and we can't guarantee that we will have enough chrysalises or caterpillars to fill all of them if they are placed two weeks ahead of Christmas. It is simply not enough time and puts undue pressure on everyone. Like last year, we may need to stop orders as soon as we reach capacity. So, if you are thinking of giving a special someone the experience of hatching a butterfly, please jump the metaphorical que and place a order sooner rather than later. We will be sending as most Christmas orders on Monday the 21 December via overnight express to make sure they make it to you on time. Cheerfully, Eddie (on behalf of Butterfly Adventures crew)

07.01.2022 Dear Friends and Supporters, Last Monarch kits for the season will be sent on the 18th May. Orchard Swallowtails (pictured) will be available for warmer states from the end of May. We partnered with madaboutscience.com.au to stock our butterfly hatching kits. Its a great website for many classroom and home based education materials.
