18.01.2022 Today I represented #BCSA at the #Ukiyo Floating World #SALA exhibition at the #MarineDiscoveryCentre and spoke to the #SoldOut crowd about the importance of butterflies in our environment. This partnership with our member and artist Wonkie Knee Art is very important to us and we hope to do more soon and similar programs with other artists. Cheers Gerry

03.01.2022 Butterfly recovery project volunteers wanted Natural Resources Adelaide & Mount Lofty are seeking volunteers to join in their journey to reintroduce Yellowish-Sedge Skipper to the Adelaide Plains region. The YSS has historically been found along coastal or supernatural areas between West Beach & St Kilda and into the extended Adelaide coastal plains. Your role as a volunteer will be working in a small team assisting staff in the collection and distribution of YSS larvae.... If this opportunity to work on a conservation project with butterflies is of interest to you please contact us & a role statement can be forwarded to you for further information. Registrations for the project close at 5pm, May 17.
