Are you left frozen at the thought of posting to Social Media - worried that the trolls are going to come out and start sharing their negativity around your post?! STOP right there!!! Listen up - this is for you!!!... First up - we need to acknowledge that this is likely to happen. Embrace it then turn it around..... 1. Read the comments openly and ask yourself - is the person right? Even though this hurts - is there something to be learned here?!! ALL feedback is welcome!!! 2. Most of the time the comments say more about the person than about you. Remember it generally isn't personal - its about them! 3. Decide if you will engage with the comments on not. Most of the time you will choose to ignore them - because fanning the flames can be tiresome and unnecessary. BUT - if you do choose to engage - flip the negativity around and turn it into an opportunity to promote your business more, and invite the person in to it. 4. Don't let negativity stop you from growing your business and building your dreams. One person's possible bad day shouldn't stop you from growing yourself and turning up to help the people who do love and support you. I used to feel sick at the thought of negative comments on my posts. I don't anymore - because my focus is on improving my business all the time. If I need to learn something from those comments - I can, otherwise I can choose to move on the important stuff - like being of service to my clients.
