21.01.2022 We are so excited to have the extraordinarily talented Tony Knight as our Director of Shakespeare in the Bar @ Holden Street Theatres in September. Tony Knight brings his multi-decades experience in theatre including over 20 years as Head of Acting at NIDA, lecturer at the Australian National Portrait Gallery and the Australian Film Gallery on 'The Identity of the Australian Actor'. Recently his work as Artistic Director of Starc Productions saw the company win critical accla...im for its productions at the Bakehouse Theatre. Tony is currently completing a PhD on Richard Burbage : Shakespeare's Actor and the art of 'Personification'.
