24.01.2022 We will be sharing some cute and easy Mothers Day craft that can also easily be adopted for the grandparents over the coming week. This one was created by using some left over craft offcuts, a folded A4 piece of paper and a black marker and some glue. Hope you are all keeping well. Take care.

20.01.2022 A lovely morning of Christmas crafty fun and outdoor sandpit play at play group at the hall today. We also had special guest 5 year old labrador Coco and her owner Dave from PAWS Pet Therapy who let us give lots of pats, let us feed her carrots and who gave us a lovely storytime. Thank you Dave and Coco! See you at the hall next week.

19.01.2022 This weeks shared play group craft activity is EASTER HATS. We would love to see a photo or video of you guys all parading in your finished Easter hat creations or dress ups and if we have enough sent through we can stitch them together to make a Virtual Easter Hat Parade for all the kids to watch! 14.01.2022 Hello Buxton Playgroup followers A very special project has been announced called the "Childrens Voices Project" by Wollondilly Council. This project encourages our local kids to create an artwork and also share their experiences, thoughts and feelings about the bushfires which will be compiled and published into a picture book. Please see more information below for community play sessions. There are many dates available, you are welcome to go to any of the sessions. Registrations are essential.

13.01.2022 The first Wollondilly Childrens Voices session was held at Buxton today which focuses on sharing of the childrens bushfire experience to be compiled in a picture book. A big thank you to Robyn from Wollondilly Library, Wollondilly Shire - Dilly Wanderer, Rotary Club of Wollondilly North Inc. and PAWS Pet Therapy for putting on this fantastic event. 11.01.2022 OMG we all had so much fun today getting a bit messy with paint!! The lovely ladies Nicole and Jane from https://www.facebook.com/yellowumbrella.australia/ came along to run the first session of Healing through Art. The kids followed the step by step instructions given by Nicole. Today we made dandelions using a loo roll, some paint, cue tips and bottle tops! Everyone made some great artwork

10.01.2022 Interested in coming along to Buxton playgroup? Its held every Wednesday at 9-11am. There is no registration or fees, you just turn up when you wish to. At the moment we arent running as we normally do, we are currently meeting at Telopea Park Buxton instead of the School of Arts Hall due to covid-19 restrictions. The Councils Dilly Wanderer van also visits the park every second Wednesday of every month with toys and activities. Any questions? Send us a message or comment below. WHEN: Friday's - 10am until about lunchtime WHERE: Balmoral Community Hall Playground (Wilson Drive, Balmoral). WHO: Community Links will be running these weekly drop in sessions. ... EXTRA INFO: Bikkies and fruit provided, they ask that you please bring your own drinks. If there are enough people turning up regularly they will arrange a coffee van for mums, dads and grandparents. 08.01.2022 We had so much fun today! A big thank you to Rachael for organising our bunny butt activity. Play doh was enjoyed by all the kids and the girls even put on a puppet show! We had lots of fun indoors even with the rainy weather.
