11.01.2022 #Lawyers don't readily give away their advice for free even though research done by the Law Society in England shows that more and more people these days expect free legal advice. One place where you can get free legal advice if you have a problem with a product, tradesmen or some other service is www.BuyersVoice.com.au Survey shows consumers expect legal advice for free Law firms are increasingly finding that consumers want their advice free of charge. A survey by The Law... Society in England found that price is now seen as more important to consumers than reputation or even experience. The poll of more than 2000 adults found that 75 per cent cited price as a factor in choosing a lawyer; when the same survey was conducted two years ago price was only a major issue for 6 per cent. Reputation and experience was a factor for 74 per cent of respondents. More than half (57 per cent) now expect free advice from their lawyers. See more

Has this sort of thing happened to you? A recent complaint - "A specialist who recommended an operation to relieve a minor inconvenience where the risk of the operation was not justified by the benefit. Then the same doctor refused to answer a simple yes or no question by email insisting the patient come in for a $200 consultation!" Submit your complaint online today at www.buyersvoice.com.au
