It’s great if you are feeling a sense of purpose or achievement... or you are just simply happy that you and your body made it through the week . . If you are feeling happy it’s the weekend because you don’t enjoy your job on the other hand... be open to reflecting why? . We often have high expectations on a job to make us super happy and not actually take any responsibility for our own joy or fulfilment. . If you hate your job- take a look at why? 15.01.2022 I am just wanting to share... that my group who are testing my online program New Vibe Career Project are doing so well.. changing careers can often bring up all sorts of resistance but they are using the activities to step them through the process. Huge insights, self awareness as a worker and now up to exploring career options.. we are getting close to decision time. Chatting to this group every Friday for discussion time is the most enjoyable part of my week. ... Im looking forward to celebrating their career decisions in the next few weeks.

15.01.2022 What if... you create a job which matches you, instead of trying to fit into a job which is offered..... . Just think about this for a moment. .... . When working over the years in many jobclubs , I can’t tell you how many times I heard -... I could maybe do that job. Kind of, sort of, if I had to, I’ll do it but I’ll probably get bored. . Now, don’t get me wrong, you can here the strong work ethic coming through with these comments and I’m huge on work ethic BUT ... who would you rather employ?? . Applicant A -I’m a maybe about being able to do that job -the job is not quite for me but I’ll have a go -I did that job 10 years ago so I’m sure I could remember those skills -I’ll take it until something better comes up OR Applicant B -I know my strengths and skill set and that job is a great fit -I’ve always dreamed of working in this industry -I’ve been learning and upskilling to have the knowledge and skills required -I’ve looked at the job and it’s the kind of environment where I thrive . Who are you going to employ? Applicant A or B? . Now, in today’s labour market, where there are 300-1000 applicants for a job, where it is highly competitive, I believe that if you are applying for the matched jobs, suitable roles, something you would enjoy doing... you are far more likely to get an interview and then get a job offer. . . So.... what does that mean for you??? . . It means you need to Take Action, you need to drive your own career show! . You need to know , really know, yourself as a worker and then put yourself in front of the ideal workplace. The employer doesn’t know why they need YOU, but you do because you know all about Yourself and now you know all about their company. Dunnaahh! Let them know why they need you. . .
