25.01.2022 Keeping Safe - COVID-19 The Health Minister says New Zealand is now effectively at war with Covid-19 - and one of the lines of defense is an early launch of this year's flu vaccination campaign. Based on the latest information from the World Health Organisation the likelihood of contracting COVID-19 from a delivery package is LOW, but we would rather be overly cautious, therefore we ask you to follow these procedures: Receiving your Buzzy via courier: Bring the parcel inside (without touching it with your bare hands). If you can, leave the parcel for 36 hours before touching it. If you need your Buzzy sooner, use a cleaning agent to clean the outside of the bag, open the bag and wipe all surfaces of contents. One potential hurdle to the number of adults getting the vaccine is needle fear. If you’re scared of needles, but you want to be vaccinated here are some tools and techniques to help you cope....
