18.01.2022 FIRE CIDER RECIPE 1 litre Kombucha vinegar cup organic garlic, grated cup organic onion, grated 1/2 cup organic ginger, peeled and grated... 1/2 cup horseradish, peeled and grated(if available) 2 pieces of turmeric root, peeled and grated, OR 2 tbsp turmeric powder(fresh is best) 1/4 tsp. organic cayenne powder 2 organic hot peppers (jalepeño, habanero, etc.), minced Zest and juice from 1 organic lemon Raw honey, to taste (OPTIONAL) Optional Seasonal Additions: Several sprigs of fresh, organic rosemary, thyme or oregano Rosehips Star Anise Parsley Burdock Peppercorns Fresh orange, grapefruit, or lime juice and peels Instructions 1. Using a peeler and a food processor, peel and grate all the roots. Note: Turmeric stains everything and horseradish root is strong enough to clear not just your sinuses, but the whole room. You may want to wear gloves to keep your hands clean and cool. 2. Mince the garlic, onions and hot peppers, then zest and squeeze the lemon. (Gloves will be handy for handling the peppers.) 3. Combine all the ingredients in a ceramic or glass bowl, except for the vinegar and honey, and mix well. 4. Transfer the mixture to a one-quart Mason jar. Hold your face away from the jar as you fill it. 5. Pour in apple cider vinegar until you fill it to the top. 6. Use a piece of parchment paper under the jar lid to keep the vinegar from touching the metal, or better yet, use a BPA-free plastic lid made for Mason jars. 7. Shake well! 8. Store in a dark, cool place for one month and shake daily. 9. After one month, use cheesecloth or a nut milk bag to strain out the pulp, pouring the vinegar into a clean jar. Be sure to squeeze as much of the liquid as you can from the pulp. 10. You can use the tonic straight or, if you prefer, add 1/4 cup of honey and stir until incorporated to make cider. Taste your cider and add another 1/4 cup of honey until you reach the desired sweetness. 11. Use the rest of the dry mixture as seasoning when cooking. See more

16.01.2022 lets try that again. HOW TO MAKE YUMMY BONE BROTH Ingredients Bones - chicken or beef or lamb (organic preferable) Fresh tumeric... Variety of veges - use all your peels and off cuts Peppercorns crushed 1/2 lemon Good pour of apple cider vinegar Choice of herbs Method Place all ingredients in slow cooker and fill with filtered water. Put on low and brew for 48 hours. Too up with more water as necessary and skim off fat as you go. Notes You can brown bones first for more flavour. You can add other cuts such as chicken feet - with the broth you are after a gelatinous texture. This is where all the goodness and benefits are and other cuts may provide additional gelatin to the mix. ENJOY!! See more

05.01.2022 KOMBUCHA RECIPE 70G Sugar per 1 litre water 2 tea bags (black organic best but you can use green - not teas that have oils such as Earl Grey as this affects the brew) 1 scoby 1/2 cup starter culture from previous brew... Bring water to the boil, then dissolve the sugar and put in the tea bags. Let it cool down to room temperature. Put your scoby in a jar, cover with the starter culture and then put in the new tea and sugar blend. Cover with cloth so mixture can breathe Fermentation takes about 7-10 days - the fermentation process is finished when the majority of the sugar has been used. it should taste acidic but never off. At this point you can second ferment using fruits/herbs etc if you wish for flavor variation. This recipe works for me everytime. Happy Fermenting!!!!
