18.01.2022 Existing 30m high Scrubber Stack The existing stack was severely corroded at the base. Sections of the stack wall were completely corroded through. Following site measurements the stack was modelled using FEA to determine the best approach to strengthening the Stack. The base of the stack was extensively strengthened to ensure that it complied with relevant Australian Standards.

14.01.2022 Structural Assessments we get calls to go out and inspect damage to property generally caused by forces such as vehicles and storms. The buildings are assessed to ensure they are still structurally sound and habitable. The first car vs building left only superficial wounds however the second photo was a few weeks ago and the building required more urgent repairs to ensure the safety of pedestrians and occupants.

11.01.2022 Warehouse Failed Boundary Wall Stage one was to stabilise the wall while the design could be completed for the replacement of the wall. Stage two was to design the boundary wall replacement with tilt up panels. The design enabled the tenant to still use the warehouse while the works were carried out.

The WA Building Commission recently did inspections of new rooves for compliance with the Framing Code AS1684 and the building code, they inspected 123 houses under construction in WAs Perth metropolitan and South West coastal regions.
