20.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we hear of the passing of our much loved Fiona, a dedicated and passionate tour guide at Bathurst Goldfields for many years. The thoughts and prayers of everyone here at Bathurst Goldfields go out to Fiona's family and friends. A service will be held at 11am Wednesday the 21st June 2017, at the Bathurst Crematorium Chapel. ... This will be followed by a wake in her memory held in the Diggers Bar at the Bathurst RSL. Why not bring them along to our school holiday tours and let them experience how life was back in Colonial Australia!... Loads of fun and they will learn something too! Tours run for 2 hours and commence at 1pm (weekdays only). Admission is $20 per adult, Primary school aged children are $10 each and kids under 5 are free. Family of 4 is $50. 14.01.2022 Day 1 was very busy at camp. The students enjoyed learning about Colonial life in Australia, making mud bricks, making damper, panning for gold, designing and throwing a boomerang, Aboriginal art and Colonial music and dancing plus Bush poetry. Bathurst Goldfields - Education Centre
