22.01.2022 Until recently Mandy Stephan was the only MCH nurse for the Hindmarsh LGA. Mandy has been very active in the By Five project; leading the establishment of the Hindmarsh Positive Parenting Centre, co-leading the development of the Rainbow and Jeparit service directory and supporting the establishment of a new playgroup by the Nhill P-12 in 2021. 09.01.2022 Employment Opportunity By Five Project Manager Part Time By Five were delighted to receive funding from the Regional Digital Fund to continue work of the specialist paediatric support partnership in 2021 and 2022 and ensure equity of access across the WSM in partnership with the Royal Children's Hospital.... We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled local project manager with great communication and facilitation skills and an understanding of the health, education and/or social care sectors. This is a part time position (0.4 FTE) responsible for building enthusiasm and partnerships to further develop the integrated specialist paediatric support work begun in 2020. The project manager will be employed by Wimmera Development Association (WDA) for a fixed term until March 2023 and report to the CEO, Chris Sounness. See the job ad in the Wimmera Mail times here. Demonstrated project management skills including work plan development and design, implementation and evaluation within a community co-design framework. 5. Experience in networking, coordinating, and liaising with a wide range of service providers and other relevant bodies. 6. Highly developed written and verbal communication and presentation skills, interpersonal and organisational skills. 7. Knowledge of or experience in local data collection, data review and analysis. 8. A current Driver’s Licence, Police Check and Working with Children Check.

We are excited to announce the By Five Specialist Paediatrician Support Project (SPSP) has won the 2020 DET Victorian Early Years Award for Creating Collaborative Community Partnerships. This is the second year in a row the project has won a prestigious VEYA award. We are incredibly proud to be recognised for the amazing contribution by so many agencies, especially the MCH nurses, integrated family services and allied health staff from across WSM. This year 117 nominations were received with 20 finalists shortlisted across all categories. We are delighted to receive $15,000 to put towards developing this initiative further.
