19.01.2022 Hot cross buns reality check. Wow what a party pooper I am but here is a reality check for Easter. One average hot cross bun is about 200 calories depending on density. Then adding even 1 measuring teaspoon of butter is 35 calories. I challenge you to keep it to one tsp. Almost impossible! So lets say one hot cross bun is 300 calories that will take approximately an hour of walking where you are huffing and puffing to burn it off. What???? How many hot cross buns did you go...bble down? Well all I can say is you had better put those walking shoes on and start walking off those buns. Easter eggs, lets not go there... See more
