24.01.2022 Following on from our Mini Wheeler feature earlier, the Sprocket divisions is grass roots BMX at its best. While some will gradute from balance bikes, for many ...this is their first foray into BMX racing, and for all, their first full laps racing with other riders. And whilst riders aren't scored, you sure wouldn't know it with their competitiveness! Its great watching the Sprocket racers, as young as 4 years old, tackling a full BMX lap, learning and practicing new skills such as cornering and pumping, and some even pushing their limits getting both wheels off the ground! For parents, its very important for both you and your riders to understand that at these very young ages, skill levels will vary widely and that the main aim is to simply enjoy riding their bike!

MARCH 26TH We all know Cockburn Bmx club have closed their doors to racing until they have their brand new facility built so Byford Bmx Club have asked them to join us in a night of racing. We will get Cockburn's volunteers to help run the night and we'll split the Nominations 50/50. All riders from every club are welcome to make this a big night and give Cockburn a chance to race together as a club for the first time in 2021.

For all state riders, photos will be taken on Friday the 13th of November, so save the date. And the AGM for the club will be held.in mid December, we are just finalising the date, so prepare your nominations. Finally, we are.going to start collecting bottles and cans as a fundraising activity and will put bins and bags out to collect on race nights so don't throw it, save it to recycle And as always. All the usual volunteer positions are required for racing tonight, and canteen will be open for bacon and egg burgers and sausages in a bun. And nuggets and chips on the side.
