( PMH Sleep Clinic Study 2014) Babies are not born with a day/night clock and have much shorter sleep cycles than adults. ... Infant sleep relies on reflective functioning. That is, the human capacity to make sense of each other. Parents can help their baby by applying settling techniques that are age appropriate.
