As its every salons busiest day of the week, most salons have had to cut back on clients and staff to accommodate the requirements to social distance appropriately ... . 15.01.2022 Not bad for self applied balayage and root shadow . The boss needs love too! . Using my awesome new #ppdfree colour range @pure_haircare I shadowed my roots down to a dark chocolate brown and then using our #nobleach method I balayaged 3 large sections either side of my face and at the back before toning all over with a slightly lighter and cooler brunette to achieve this sleek and glossy colour while I FINALLY grow out this hairstyle!... . 11.01.2022 Incase you haven’t noticed I obviously love working on dark natural bases! I ALWAYS USE either @artegohaircareaus Blue Blonding Creme or @avedaaustralia 14N with Light BB to gradually lighten coarse, dark hair. Doing it this way ensures lifting and toning simultaneously unlike bleaching AND THEN toning where over time the natural red and orange underlying pigment come seeping through and as a client, you’re constantly having to tone and re-tone and blue shampoo your hair... to disguise the warmth Using blonding creme is not only much gentler on the hair but it gets us closer to being able to use powder in foils and actually achieve a pale yellow blonde for toning true ash tones over When I DO use bleach (powder lightener) I use @insightaustralia for its gentle and naturally derived properties Toning for cool naturals I use @jevalaus @jevalpro 9.11

07.01.2022 Hey all! So if you happened to catch my video the other day youll know Im kind of in a grey area where Im closed but not officially but also not really in operation . Since the end of February I noticed a significant decline in the amount of online bookings Id usually receive each month. Now I know generally after Christmas is a tricky time not to mention the huge affects of the bushfires and then the rain and floods for as well affecting where we are allocating our mon...ey and also whats important to us, which I greatly understand. . I remember about 6 weeks ago talking to a client about the impact the virus was having already on her at work (she works for a university in Sydney) so this was already a real thing. . Between then and now Im already down $4000 revenue this month with a further $1000 of cancellations last week alone. . Its not an easy decision to make to shut up shop BUT its also our civic duty to help stop the spread by not being in direct contact with people. . I understand that working is important and weve got bills and cars and mortgages and rents and babies and pets and lives to pay for, believe me I get it. But is your life more important than that of others that you are prepared to risk peoples lives for money? . I am not. You can take every cent I have (not much at this point in time lol). I will not work. I will not be seeing guests. I will go out of business if I have to. Everyones life is valuable so stop going to work, stop getting your hair done, stop pretending this doesnt matter. .
