21.01.2022 Latest batch nearly ready to go! Just need to trim the wicks down so it’s ready to burn when you receive it! Don’t forget to read the bottom of the candle and remember to keep your wick trimmed to 5mm before you burn it. Keeping it short reduces the flame size and ensures the candle is burning consistently and more importantly SAFELY! How do you cut it? Use sharp scissors, an unused nail clipper or as a shameless plug, our wick trimmers! Grab it from the website during your next order!

20.01.2022 IT’S SAMPLE SALE TIME! What, already? YES! We have leftover wax from testing that can’t go to waste! This wax is different from our signature wax - the only difference is it doesn’t dry down as perfectly as we like.... It DOES NOT affect the scent at all! Get in quick as these sample candles are going for $25 each and will last as long as our sample wax stock allows. WHAT YOU GET: Exactly the same large 400g candle with the labelling and cotton bag - just a different type of coconut wax that we used during testing but for a lower price! 15.01.2022 The weekend was a bit crazy that we’re close to selling out! We only have a handful of candles left and no clue when we’ll get new stock in. Get your hands on what’s left on the website today. It won’t last long!

14.01.2022 Get in quick - we’re running out of stock fast! Like every other small maker (or large!) we’re starting to feel the impacts of COVID-19. There is a high demand for raw materials and shipping delays have push deliveries back. Moreover, the cost of the raw materials have recently increased. We were quite surprised at the unexpected jump but it is what it is.... So we will be spending time crunching the numbers to review how the new costs will impact us. We are lucky that we make candles as a side hustle away from our day jobs but it does take time. Even more so with the lack of stock and time spent constantly checking back to see if it’s back in stock! If you have been thinking about purchasing our candles get in now to secure what is left! 03.01.2022 OUR WEBSITE IS LIVE! It’s a very exciting (and scary!) time for us to finally launch our online store! It’s been a few weeks of customizing and editing to make it just right and easy for customers to purchase a candle or three!... There will be tweaks along the way (cos we are perfectionists) but testing has proven that the experience is seamless for the site to be released in the wild. 02.01.2022 PEONY ROSE HAS SOLD OUT! Like sold out/sold out! There’s literally no scent left in stock to make it - even after we restocked it, it’s all gone!... We introduced this scent as a sweeter version of Rose on a limited run but with such great interest, well, we might have to make it permanent! Due to COVID-19 we have no idea when we’ll get more stock in and as a result we’re not currently offering pre-order. 02.01.2022 Did you know a candle maker is called a chandler because back in medieval times the rich had an office where wax and candles were stored and it was called a chandlery. Even when registering the business the term is still used when you select what kind of business you’re running. Crazy!
