Why Hospitality: I enjoy working in hospitality because there is never a dull moment between customers, especially here at Byrnes Pie Factory. I love meeting the different types of people that come into the factory to buy their smoko. Outside of Work: When I'm on days off I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I'm still relatively new to town so when I have time I try to venture outdoors to explore the beautiful Mackay surrounds. Why Mackay: I grew up out west, in a very small mining town and Mackay was the closest large town. Moving to Mackay gave me the opportunity to find a job that I love and how good is it that I get to work at a place that has such a close history to Mackay.
