03.01.2022 Well Charmer and I have had such a wonderful first year ... despite the obvious challenges . And we absolutely wouldn’t be where we are now without some help from some amazing people being there to hold our hand and give us the confidence to step up. I know we’ve only competed in prelim but believe me ... it feels like a bit of an achievement . There were a few moments of doubt Matt @matthew_lord_dressage, we owe you so much... not only for helping Charmer grow in ...maturity, education and confidence... but also for being a supporter and mentor and always pushing me to have a go and believe in myself. My other wonderful coaches, you all know who you are and I’m so grateful for all of your input and help. And to my family and friends for always being behind me A big shout out also to @thesaddlefitterau for providing such a great service and making sure Our horses can reach their full potential with saddles that allow them to move without pain or hinderance With the first year of competition under our belt we’re looking forward to stepping up next year to new challenges. novice and 5yo classes ! 03.01.2022 Such a beautiful weekend full of sunshine, horses and good company . Couldn’t be happier with Charmer ... he kept his cool and is feeling more and more solid in his work. We came home with a personal best in our scores, champion prelim and the huge honour of winning the Bob Eccleshare memorial trophy A big thank you to both clubs Summerland Dressage Club and Tweed Valley Equestrian Group for putting on such a fantastic fundraising event. And to all of the people and v...olunteers for putting countless hours into making days like that happen .
