25.01.2022 WINNNEERRSSSS Byron Bay won the Presidents Cup with an unbeaten season and a final score of 45 - 0 against Evans Head! A short but sweet 2020 season finished off beautifully. (Any photos from the day? Please send on messenger and we will add them to this album!)

23.01.2022 Words from our returning VP. "After being away for 18 months, I came back to the Bay eager to play in the shortened season. I was told we had been moved to Far North Coast Rugby Union Presidents Cup due to lack of the numbers of players in the club, and not able to field a second team during COVID, with the tradition of the Bay relying on many overseas players. When I arrived to my first training out of the 20 lads there I only knew 3 of the guys from previous seasons.... In true Byron Bay style we had to get to know each other, each others styles, names, and game plan with no planning from the offset in true "Barbarian" Rugby. Full credit to the boys for gelling so quickly. Some had never even played rugby before. Some never graded rugby. It's a great platform to rebuild the club and move forward. The club is now in the Grand Final on the 19th September. Best of luck to all lads and teams playing in the Semis this weekend." 19.01.2022 A message from Byron Bay Rugby. During these unprecedented times, it has been announced that Rugby Australia community is to cease all activities until further notice. With the NSW Government announcing a lockdown until around June 29th. This would be after Round 10 of the Far North Coast Rugby Union more than halfway through the season. We would like to send our well wishes to all players and community members. Please stay safe, healthy and active during this time. We have n...o doubt we will be back and better than ever. It is our hope that the world famous Byron Bay Rugby 7's will still go ahead in October. Please watch this space. We would ask that all players who were looking to join Byron Bay rugby and our rich tradition of overseas players joining our barbarian style of club, to be ready and prepared for the 2021 season.
