07.01.2022 I love growing Teasel - Dipsacus sylvestris. I love the architectural symmetry of the spikes when all the pinky, purple flowers have blown off. I need to grow more to get enough of the roots and leaves to make tinctures and teas. Maybe next season as I have been informed it spreads like mint. The name Teasel means to "Restore what is Broken". It can be taken internally or used topically and functions to strengthen the liver and kidneys, support circulation, and nourish the bones and tendons. A beautiful tonic herb.

07.01.2022 The medical experts instruct people with covid to stay home and take panadol if needed. If they get worse then they must go to the hospital. That could be a bit late for many people. I love herbs.
