18.01.2022 http:// I'm feeling nice and inspired again after a wild 2020. Creativity is a difficult concept to live with sometimes and through the years I really have learned not to control it but just sit back and relax, letting the lovely energy do it's thing. It feels that as soon as I ever try to control Creativity, it runs away haha! 2020 had me spending a loooooot of time in front of a screen, and it began to really zap all my inspiration. The cure? Going outside and exploring again wi...th my amaaaazing partner, and surfing until my legs go wobbly. Sometimes it's not enough to even go outside, with a strange lens of tech still clawing after you, creating a veil upon your perception. How fix? Breathing, and closing yor eyes, meditating and relaxing. I don't meditate nearly enough, and mainly do so in the Ocean, as it forces my breathing to relax, that's my special place. Last year I spent a long time in curve observation, looking at the lines in sand, clouds, water and rock, and those simple curves kept popping up everywhere! Before I knew it, it was harder to not see them anymore haha so they began to enter all my new designs in odd unique ways. Last year was very very difficult for me mentally, and so I had a really nice long break. I'm still being very gentle on myself and easing back into work. I feel really good, really grounded and joyous. Very madly in love, very inspired, and I have that raw energy and excitement back in my belly again. The energy that makes me want to get up and make things, all the things. Today is a good day, a happy day, time to go swimming at Wategos now, where the clarity is obscene, the clearest blue I can remember, yum! Have a splendid day and thanks for reading my madness, it beats me talking to myself haha!!

12.01.2022 http://byronbound.com.au Welcome back, its been a while! 5 months to be exact. I was burned out earlier in the year from overworking, and took the opportunity to stop everything and reasess my life and work balance. I'm feeling physically and mentally strong, I am surfing and designing every day and filled with overflowing passion and strength for today and the future. 2 months in I began a new passion project and spent a few months on branding it professionally, a high end ar...t brand that will be released next year and that I put a lot of love and myself into. I am very much looking forward to releasing the project to the world :) I spent my time thinking about Byron bound and what I want to do with this space. I thought about ending it but decided against it in the end. Books and gifting are on hold for now as I will only be making high end books in future, large insanely complex journals rather than generic journals and things. A new range of rings has been released from my latest deep dive into ancient Archaeometallurgy. Available is the start of a rough and raw new style specialising in pure gold and pure platinum designs. I'll be staying away from high polishes and focusing on the raw natural state my rings want to be in, enhancing their greatest features. I am now taking select comissions for jewellery, so for those who have been waiting patiently, check out the new insta shop, the new website and send me a message, i'd love to work with you :) #artjewellery #artlovers #artcollectors #ringobsession #jewelleryforhumans #madebyhands #handforged #treasure #contemporaryartjewellery #natureinspiredjewellery #puregold #24ctgold #platinum #organicart

08.01.2022 http:// Shimmer in the Sand Ocean dreaming, exploring the flow of sand, of water, of clouds in the sky. The same patterns show themselves all around us, lines of flow. Paua Shell, found down south and over the sea shows the patterns of sand in bright colour, the lines of flow, Fibonacci swirls, golden means, nature in all its purity and splendour....
