25.01.2022 Brisbane-ites! Today we come for your city! We are Going to be at the Hamilton Wharf, Eat Street Markets, for most likely a one off market. Get in and have a taste of our stuff then run around and get something a delicious dinner you can cover in our products. It goes from 4pm to 10pm and is packed with interesting dishes and theres even a flowershop. Why not get your Mum a bunch? And to all the regular Bangalow market faithful- dont worry, we will be there bright and early, perhaps a little dazed and dozey, but still ready to provide you with all the attention and taste tests you could desire. Yeew!

24.01.2022 Tomorrow if you feel like some market food or care to find us we can be caught up at Mullum Market for the day, then on sunday well be up at Pottsville Market. Short and sweet, Over and out.

23.01.2022 Its the last byron market before the dreaded and wonderful juggernaut of Christmas rolls around. If your still struggling for gifts then come grab something sweet for your sweet relatives, something a little savoury for beloved companions, and a jar of pure scorpion chilli to keep all the other cretins at bay.

22.01.2022 Byron Beachside Market is on today! Come down and check it out if youre in the area. Its one of our favourite markets because of the unique feel of doing business in the salty sea air, as well the ability to take a quick dip in the ocean between customers. Also tomorrow well be out at The Channon markets giving out tastes and trying to spot the resident koalas. Hope to see you soon.

22.01.2022 Everybody, were relocating to the beach for 6 month starting 4th August. Come and see us - at the beach!!

Earl of Preserves.

20.01.2022 Festivus for the rest of us...

18.01.2022 5/6ths done of a 3 market weekend. Were halfway through Byron Sunday market and the last market before Christmas (o if youd prefer- Solstice or Saturnalia or Festivus, Hanukkah...whatever). Come down to cop a last little gift or a delicious accompaniment to a brilliant Christmas feast. The Davidson plum is perfect as a side to soft cheeses, and a ham baked with the Seville orange marmalade has been said to be pretty flipping tasty. For more Chrissy suggestions and gifts, come hang at the stall.

18.01.2022 Ok peoples. New market place. Byron Mkt is moving up to the beachside from this Sunday onward, till when? We dont know? Anyway thats where you can find us for your hit of the best chilli sauces or wonderful unique jams and marmalades. The market runs from Byron surf club all the way down to Clarks beach in one straight row, so no more dusty, crowded, maze like tangle. Come along and find us, were not to far from the surf club, just before you get to the food circle, site B14. Jed and I hope to see you there. Chilli Man. Oh and tmwr (Saturday) we will be up at Brunswick heads as usual ( 1st Saturday of the month) so if ya dont wanna hit Byron come catch up with us there. See ya.

17.01.2022 Some good news! Weve just finalised all the finicky bits on the Website & are proud to say we now have an online store where you can purchase our products from. Check it out at www.byronsteve.com.au. While the entire range isnt up yet, the core products are ready and we hope to get the rest up as soon as we can. Also we also just stocked the shelves of local produce store BAZ & SHAZs with our DEADLY TOUGHIE PANTS Sauce & Relish. So if you live locally, why not pop down to Baywood Chase, grab a bottle or a jar and some vegetables, fruit and bread and see how quickly you can devour your bottle in as many meal combinations as possible. Trust us, there are quite a few.

11.01.2022 Hi all, just a friendly heads up to all that this weekend is our benevolent monarch overlords birthday. Be a good colonial urchin and get your gulliver down to the Byron Markets between 7am-3pm and purchase her up a sweet pressie, and while your at it why not grab something for your own table, just in case she ever pops round for tea and scones. I hear she quite partial to a nice marmalade and there few things she wouldnt do for a delicious chutney. Or if your a staunch republican and the idea of foreign rule by some dusty old chick who doesnt even rule her own country leaves a bad taste in your mouth, you could burn that bad taste right out with some of our new Deathly Droppers, which come in SCORPIAN, FATALI & GHOST variants. So we hope to see you tomorrow, and remember you might just need a royal pardon somewhere down the line...

11.01.2022 Weve been a bit quiet lately due to Jed being in Japan for the last month and Steve being monstrously inadequate with technology, but were back to it. Tonight if you want to come find us well be down at the Byron night market, selling up a storm. Come down and grab some comfort food to help either celebrate or commiserate the election results.

11.01.2022 Sherrie at honey bee wraps is a brilliant member of the greater byron shire market community, and her honey wraps are a brilliant eco-friendly alternative to the gross waste that is single use cling wrap. She has started a crowd funding campaign to ask for some dollars so she can grow the business and keep massive amounts of throwaway plastics from taking up space in landfill or making its way into our oceans. Shes also got rewards for donating, but most importantly we reckon Sherrie and her partner Nico are real good, genuine people who are pushing a super righteous product that we know works because we use it in our own kitchen to keep our produce fresh. Have a look if youre interested, and support them if your keen. Over & out.

10.01.2022 I just gave three dots of our ghost chilli sauce to a prepubescent boy and delighted in watching him shuffle off, trying but completely failing to conceal any sign of weakness from his little mate whod dared him to try it. Small joys. Were currently at bruns market til two, then we zip back to the bay for the night market in railway park. Then tomorrow were at the monthly byron market. And if that wasnt enough on Wednesday up by the ocean is the super-dooper spectacular tri-annual Byron Beachside market. No excuses to avoid us. Were everywhere...

09.01.2022 Jedian picking wild raspberries. A true labour of love. Scratched and torn for hours on end, rambling in the brambles, but the jam-- superbly sublime. Cest Magnifique ?

09.01.2022 Got any plans yet for the weekend? Why not come on down for a wander around Brunswick Heads Market. The annual old and gold festival is on, so as well as our ever-flowing free samples of hot, sweet and tasty products, therell be plenty of interesting vintage bits and pieces to check out, tasty food and drink, and generally Bruns is a pretty good place to be. OR On Sunday well be at the Channon Market if you fancy a drive. Perhaps you could scope a nice waterhole, and the...n stop by at the markets for a feed and a great people watching opportunity. Well be there all-day until the drum circle starts at around 3-3.30, but if your into it then theres always a interesting crowd. Also were sitting on 99 likes, know anyone whos keen to be 100? Hope to see you at one or both markets, enjoy your long weekend. See more

A fresh batch of the peach jam is available again, as well as other season additions and our set stock. It makes for a great day out with plenty of cheap delicious food options, so if you are like to eat food, come along. Also on Sunday well be out at the Channon Market. Perhaps you could wander around and see us then ask Ron from the Happy High herbs tent about the Satanist practices inherent in the catholic church or any number of conspiracy theories hes happy to inform the public about. Hope to see you, but what ever your doing this weekend, Enjoy!

07.01.2022 At the moment were sitting at the Friday January artisan market, burning and pleasing people in equal measure with the various stuff in jars that we sell, and silently feeling like were undergoing either a traditional Inuit sleep deprivation ritual, or like weve overdosed ourselves on chilli and are spinning through a psychedelic Simpsonian spirit quest after a massive 20 hour day running from yesterday morning to deep into todays morn. All to knock up a huge batch of our... infamous Deadly Toughie Pants Relish. Its a delicious batch. Come and try it at one of the 4 markets were doing this weekend. Were at : Tonight- Byron night til 9.30pm Sat- Mullum market 6am-2pm. Byron night market 3pm-10pm. Then the big Sunday Byron market from 7am to 3.30pm. The exhaustion promises only to deepen. Come spectate as we unravel and try our delicious feats of cookery. End transmission.... See more

06.01.2022 If this is popping up in your feed then consider yourself invited to the Brunswick twilight Christmas market. It on from 12ish today til around 10-11 at night. Its a beautiful day down at bruns and the water is calling, so why not come for a dip in the ocean or the river; then come up to the markets and hang out, taste some stuff, have a go on the merry go round, pick up some Christmas gifts, and have a game or 3 of housie (bingo) in the big tent. Ps no invitations actually needed, just show up. Yeew!

06.01.2022 Hi all. This Saturday is the September beachside Mkt. 03.01.2022 Its daylight savings time again, which signals the lead in to summertime in the bay. It also marks the start of the Byron artisans market, held every Saturday night 4-9pm right in the centre of town in railway park on Jonson st (nxt to the Rail pub, opposite the post office). Jed and I are there every Saturday so come on down and say howdy, try some of our incredibly good flavour sensations, see what new delectables we may have come up with, or just stock up on your old favourites.
