22.01.2022 We are thrilled to announce that Byron Writers Festival has recently been upgraded to Major Festival status by Create NSW, with funding secured for four years. We held a very small event at our office last week to celebrate this wonderful milestone. Pictured are Parliamentary Secretary for the Arts Ben Franklin, author and teacher Zacharey Jane, NSW Minister for the Arts Don Harwin, kids' author Tristan Bancks Author and local author Sarah Armstrong. Thank you Create NSW for your continued support for the arts in regional Australia, and to our wonderful board, staff, authors, members and audiences who have helped to build Byron Writers Festival into what it is today.

20.01.2022 What a treat it was to welcome audiences back to live events with last night's incredible conversation between Trent Dalton and Zacharey Jane for his new book 'All Our Shimmering Skies'. It was an electrifying evening - filled with warmth, heart and intense connection. We are all buzzing!!
